Bio

Aidan Wilhite is a photographer, producer, and artist living in New York City. He’s primarily interested in modern practices of gift making and how they can help restore our sense of agency within an extractive attention economy. His project Gifted was a photo series capturing the creative identity of local artists and the gifts they made, but after exploring his relationship to the internet, he’s transitioned to more organic, interpersonal methods of artistic expression. Occasionally, he hands out hand-made envelopes and self-published zines on the street. He thinks that might be enough.
